St Arthur growth on track with new Welwyn Garden City

Affordable housing provider St Arthur Homes has acquired a new site of Shared Ownership homes in Welwyn Garden City from Crest Nicholson

Known as Willow Place, the site at Bessemer Road comprises 15 apartments in a mix of one- and two- bedroom layouts, located close to the town centre. This comes as part of St Arthur Homes target to grow its portfolio to 2,000 homes within the next five years.


The development is currently under construction and due to be build complete next summer. This deal is typical of the way that the dynamic young company is proactively seeking partnerships with leading housebuilders as it ramps up its portfolio.


Richard Cohen, Chief Executive Officer at St Arthur Homes, comments: “We are delighted to have acquired our latest site in Welwyn Garden City, putting us on track to meet our plans for growth. These are affordable, well-located homes which are such in demand from first time buyers, so we know they will be popular.
