Expertly crafted homes at No.1 Millbrook Park, have seen high-level up-take by Chinese buyers, who make up 30% of purchasers at the development by Joseph Homes, to date.

British Chinese buyers comprise the majority of this figure, while the development has also proven popular with international buyers from Hong Kong and Shanghai. The trend highlights the universal appeal and exemplar offering of the development, which is shaping up to be the backdrop to a new and diverse community. Townhouses and apartments are available at the development in Mill Hill, and start from £444,995.

The London Borough of Barnet has one of the highest populations of Chinese residents in the UK and the highest of any London borough, making up 2.1% of the overall population. The popularity of No.1 Millbrook Park with both local and international buyers in the area, stamps a seal of approval on the development itself, equipped with a host of features to keep buyers healthy and living well.

The Joseph Homes ‘Live Well’ design principles present a unique and elevated way of living, in homes built to prioritise health and wellbeing. The developer, which puts homeowners at the heart of the project, eradicates health-endangering chemicals from the homes it builds, whilst utilising mechanical ventilation and heat recovery systems (MVHR) and pollen filters to create a continuous supply of fresh filtered air in all liveable spaces.

Sean Ruane, Sales Director of Joseph Homes, comments, “The homes at No.1 Millbrook Park certainly have something for everyone, and it’s fantastic to see such a diverse spectrum of the community buying at the development. As an area that has had a strong Chinese community for many years, we were determined at Joseph Homes, to introduce local buyers to something new in the form of our distinctive Live Well offering, and the high interest and purchase levels represents the success of this.

“Many of our international buyers from China are buying homes for their children to live in whilst studying in London, and these purchases in particular are testament to the trust our buyers have in Joseph Homes.”

No.1 Millbrook Park is part of the wider Millbrook Park regeneration of 40 hectares of vacant brownfield land, which was formerly home to the original marching parade ground Inglis Army Barracks military ground, and is being transformed into a thriving new community. The Joseph Homes development occupies the highest position of the entire scheme, with views over the wider London landscape. Residents will also benefit from new parks and open spaces, a new primary school with upgraded community facilities, and an upgraded version of the nearby Mill Hill East underground station.

Mill Hill represents the ultimate cosmopolitan lifestyle in the London suburbs, with quick access to the city centre, but with plenty of green space. Mill Hill itself is a charming local hub, with an abundance of independent shops and quaint eateries, with local neighbouring town Colindale home to Loon Fung Chinese supermarket, and the largest foodhall of Asian cuisine in London, Bang Bang Oriental.
